Market Talk

Nov 25, 2022

On Friday, an abbreviated market session led to a little bit of late selling in Chicago and KC wheat. Otherwise, it was quiet and choppy in low volume action as corn was up a bit and soybeans down a few cents. Livestock drifted lower as well on the day as we head to a normal trading week next wee.

In segment one, we discuss Friday's market action with Arlan Suderman of StoneX. Then in segment two we go back to last week's NAFB Convention in Kansas City for an interview with David Widmar of Agricultural Economic Insights to discuss the markets as a whole. Kevin McNew, Chief Economist at FBN, joins us in segment three from last week's NAFB Convention to provide his perspective on the markets. And we wrap with Tom Haag, President of the NCGA, to discuss issues impacting corn farmers.
